Sort Your Pictures

You’ve got to start small with your photo organization but starting is the key!

Pull out your calendar and make a date with yourself. Photos are meant to bring you joy so lean into it turn on your favorite music, grab a snack, and sip on your favorite beverage. 15 minutes a day is what I would recommend.

You can:
  • Sort Chronologically
  • Sort by Themes (people, holiday, events, vacation)
  • Sort any way that makes sense to you
Use this time to get rid of:
  • Duplicates
  • Blurry Images
  • Landscapes
  • Bad or Accidental shots
  • Screenshots or Information you no longer need

When you’re organizing photos on your computer or sorting physical printed photos, it helps to create file names that are easy for you to find. Keep it simple but be sure to always keep the name, date, and location if possible!

Yes, photo organizing is a big project but its a valuable thing to do. Once you get your photos into one place, you can more easily create backups you trust so you can finally stop worrying about losing your precious memories.

Its time to start enjoying your photos!
